I have a 4 valved Getzen flugel and it works fine in the low register, but that is not what being a trumpet player is about...........

![]() | Re: In Place of French Horn Years ago I played in a quintet with an undependable horn player. I got so sick of playing horn parts on C trumpet I bought a Holton alto trumpet in low F on closeout from Giardinelli. Of course, immediately after the alto arrived the group disbanded, and since the horn was a closeout item I couldn't return it.
