Re: Placebo and the Art of Trumpet playing.

"God grant me the strength to correct that which is wrong, the love to praise that which is praisworthy and the wisdom to know when to do each."

There are many variations of the serenity prayer that can be helpful.

Each of us learns that at times we must push hard to get results and other times we need to rest and relax in order to get our best music out of the horn.
The great teachers also must push at times and praise at others to get the best music out of the student's horn.
