![]() | Hmmm... no relatives there...but I love Chicago! (uh, except the Cubs.. remember...Cardinals fan)... Chicago is as good a choice as any. Great town, for sure... A person could get into a lot of trouble ther...er...I mean... It would be an opportunity for some good musical fellowship.

![]() | CHICAGO!!!!!!!!! If this elderly 'wannabe, hasbeen, comebacker' can get to meet and hear Manny, and Nick, along with a host of others of their approximate caliber, I will drive down from accross Lake Michigan for a TM fest. It is ony 165 miles from post office to post office. I think that even with the horrendous price of gasoline I 'might' be able to afford that on my limited fixed income. OLDLOU>>

![]() | Ok! Well, I'm partial to Chicago for all of the previously mentioned reasons. The south side is cool! You've just gotta know the turf. Same for the norht and west side! East side? Thast's the lake! The Midwest B&O thng could be a cool connection. Chicago winters can be dicey, certainly, as woudl the case for any northern state. Hey, I'd be cool with hawii or Berlin! I'm just up againt the ol' pocket book when it comes to travel to those locales. Arizona would be mighty nice, too! I like St. Louis, too! I grew up down there! It's just that there's a lot to do around here and there are soooo many trumpeters here. It's be a great hang for existing TM'ers and a great bit of exposure for potential new members. I could certainly help out with pointing planners in the right direction re hotels and stuff. Now back to NYC. Well, I love NYC. Would our conference be overkill with the NY Brass Conference? Great ideas, everyone! Well, administrator person! Is there going to be a vote or something? TTFN Nick

![]() ![]() | tm get together Instead of St. Louis, come out here to St. Charles. We are within minutes of the airport. I can pick you up. We have a brand new convention center and hotel. There are plenty of cheaper hotels near the convention center. Lots of restaurants. We have a brew pub, Trail Head Brewery. A nice riverfront park with a covered platform for concerts. Did I mention lots of bars? Personally, I need a Montana fix. I would vote for Calispel, Montana. Every other day we could take a bus tour to a different part of Glacier National Park. Other days we could drink beer, play trumpet and listen to other people play trumpet. The Flat Head lake would be a nice place to put on a show. Do I dare mention that New York has a problem with pond scum? Pujols is back in the lineup.
