NickD has a spectacular aura about
Milwaukee

Milwaukee is a pretty good place, too. It is only one hour from Chicago, and we could have the same access to the same heavy hitters to come out to the event. Milwaukee is a "quite town" by comparison to Chicago. Parking and driving are pretty easy. They don't have a mass tranist system like chicago, though. The mass transit is a big plus. It gives visitors a lot more freedom. I would have had a heck of a time getting around the ITG if it weren't for the kind generosity of several Army Band fellows he gave me two rides!

No one likes Texas? I'm thinking Houston since I couldn't go to ITG!

My vote goes for Texas... not because I'm living here, but because it is centrally located. There are a lot of trumpet players in Texas. I think that the ITG membership is the highest number of any other state. If they aren't TM members by then... they will be! Houston is the 4th largest city in the States, and it has a little more to offer, in terms of amenities.

With Chicago, and O'Hare, things could end up being extended without warning. Been there, done that.

ITG has the East Coast/Northeastmonopoly working for two year running. After that, we're going to Tootsall's house... errmmm... neck of the woods - Banff in 2008 (Ummmm, Honey... a FEW of my friends are stopping by... for the weekend. ), and Australia in 2010.

Atlanta... no problems there... as long as you fly Delta.

Texas... lookin' good!

Later, Y'all!
Bruce

My vote would be for Atlanta...

All the other places sound wounderful;but I too have budget concerns.

I would be unable to attend a conference anywhere else.

So selfishly I vote Atlanta!

I would be up for something in Chicago or, I think someone mentioned it, Davenport! I can't go too far (poor college student and no transportation) but, I'd try to make it if it were close to home! We could have it here in Iowa City! (lol)

Texas is centrally located? I guess they moved it since I lived there.
