I played a Bill Chase Jet-Tone for over 20 years!. The GR I used now is basically the same thing. I played Bill's type of horn too, a Schilke B6.

The photos that were taken by Nelson Hatt , were taken at the Village Inn Pizza Parlor ( yup, he said pizza parlor) on Westhiemer street in Houston .
I was there that night with Nelson, a few days after that was when they died in the plane crash. Nelson, who was a very fine trumpet player , was also an amatuer photographer and he also took the photo for Bobby Shew's album
