This is my third valve exercise. "Prayer for St. Gregory" The Arutunian A new range book I found in my box of stuff. Telling myself to learn minor scales and Blues scales. Always trying to breath better. I mess around with circular breathing. Finish reading Dave Hickman's "Trumpet Pedagogy" book.

![]() | Re: Seasons over, Schools out, now what? As a fellow Toronto resident...braving the disgusting weather, working at a glorious retail job on Queen St (and braving the crowds there which can be almost as suffocating as the heat), and waiting until school gets back in so I can get back to studying what I love (music, obviously!). Other than that, delving deeper into this wonderful and frustrating world of trumpet, having only taken it up about a month and a bit ago. Taking some lessons with a fantastic teacher and a student, and just trying to get marginally marginally competent (no, that was not a typo). Enjoy your time off - you guys deserve it! |

![]() | Hello Andrew. I will perform piccolo trumpet solos with my organist in Vancouver. Other than that not too much playing until September. In the summertime, I like to relax and go hiking. There are plenty of places to hike in British Columbia.
