Re: Seasons over, Schools out, now what?

As a fellow Toronto resident...braving the disgusting weather, working at a glorious retail job on Queen St (and braving the crowds there which can be almost as suffocating as the heat), and waiting until school gets back in so I can get back to studying what I love (music, obviously!).

Other than that, delving deeper into this wonderful and frustrating world of trumpet, having only taken it up about a month and a bit ago. Taking some lessons with a fantastic teacher and a student, and just trying to get marginally marginally competent (no, that was not a typo).

Enjoy your time off - you guys deserve it!

Re: Seasons over, Schools out, now what?

Heading out for Signature Music camp at Ithaca College in a few minutes, great times. It's my fith year going there. I'm still packing up the four horns I'm bringing and all the other gear. Then I'm working as a volunteer for New York State in the Adirondacks at a camp they run up there. I'll be back in late July.
Until Then

Cool Re: Seasons over, Schools out, now what?

Hello Andrew. I will perform piccolo trumpet solos with my organist in Vancouver. Other than that not too much playing until September. In the summertime, I like to relax and go hiking. There are plenty of places to hike in British Columbia.

Re: Seasons over, Schools out, now what?

I have a new project at work so won't be getting away until October. My family is gone though so the nat is unpacked in the living room and gets played every chance I get - with a focus on articulation.
