![]() | Satchmo plays Handy? Never heard of that one, where can I find it? Thxs. Its an album that was put out sometime in the fifties, there have been two cd reissues one in the eighties and one in the nineties, apparently the one from the eighties had different bonus tracks, I found the more recent reissue at Virgin Records in Boston, the bonus tracks include an interview with Handy talking about Louis and a funny story Louis tells about an encounter with an alligator, I hate buying cds cause i've got a cd burner and alot of friends with good music, but this one wasn't too expensive and there's plenty of music on it, the quality of the tunes was also pretty much assured as the composer and performer are well... you know, i don't feel like taking the time to do them justice with words that won't do the job, in any case the album is great, you should pick it up if you can. jpk excuse the length, brevity is often elusive |
