I love my Hamilton, also. I've had it since mid-'80s. But now I have an old sock over it so the rubber end doesn't get stuck in my bell. Also to keep it from marking up my bell, too. It's a great thing to have for pit rehearsals when you have to sit and wait for the tech crew to get their act together or for gigs where multiple horns are necessary. It puts the horn at just the right height to grab when sitting. Not too much of a bend when standing, either.
