Did I just see "tuning" and "Flutes" in the same subject line? Talk about your oxymorons....

If you're tuning them up close make uure you tune by the mouthpipe and not the end of the flute. Probably best to tune them from a short distance away.

Those higher soprano instruments just aren't as forgiving; it'd be like trying to tune a bunch of piccolo trumpets....
