Question Whats the name of that trumpet song??

Hi,

i'm new to this site, and joined specifically to find out if anyone knew the name of a trumpet song. I'll do my best to describe it....

* it's kind of slow at first, maybe a little sad

* it's usually played at weddings/receptions, especially Italian ones, where the father/daughter dance

* i think it may also be famously played on new years eve

* i'm pretty sure its a well known trumpet song

* it's fairly old...not recent...possibly over 10 or 20 years old, if not more

if anyone knows what song i'm referring to, could you please let me know
(and put me out of my misery!! lol)

Thanks.

John

You should have simply said: you know, that Red Sox 8th inning anthem?

Re: Whats the name of that trumpet song??

A song played for daughter/father at a wedding reception ... is it Love for Sale? I'm just kidding, that'd be way off but funny.

What about, "Daddy's Little Auld Lang Syne"?
How about this for a wedding song?

Re: Whats the name of that trumpet song??

Done and done, it will be played at my wedding. The sad part is my girlfriend would probably expect it ...
