Well, they're not really excerpts, they're the parts. I don't know about the 89 dollar thing, but Hal Leonard is selling CDs of the parts (all the parts for each piece) for 19.95 per volume. The first is Beethoveen, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Berlioz and 6 others. All the parts, trumpet and cornet, in PDF format.
Vol. 2 is Mahler, etc. and Vol. 3 is Brahms and a ton of stuff.

I had to click on the foreign part of the library links to see the rep, but it's pretty amazing. Would have been nice to look at the 2nd part to Mahler 1 before playing it last Tuesday...now I'll be able to do that sort of thing.

Hey guys,

this is my current DMA project. I am almost done so wait a few more months and contact me personnally. The only cost will be shipping and the blank CD to copy.

I have done 135 works from the symphonic repertoire, covering all major composers. Each part has its own staff. Over 900 pages of orchestral excerpts on a CD'Rom.
The only excerpts that will not be included in the CD that I can copy to people will be the ones that are still under copyright and that the owners did not accept to be used other than in the actual dissertation.
If you want to get access to the ones with copyrights you will have to ask for interlibrary to borrow the original copy.

I wish I could include all of them but legal stuff can get pretty ugly with copyright.
