| New Friend | Arutunian cuts I'm playing the arutunian (artunian? arutiunian? I've seen it spelled so many ways) with my high school wind ensemble, and what with time restrictions and all we have to cut some out. My director wants it down to around 10 minutes or less. We've tried a few things but haven't made the final call yet. Any suggestions? |

| Pianissimo User | Re: Arutunian cuts Go to www.nationaltrumpetcomp.org and listen to what most people do. One time I played it I made some cuts I think. I dont have it in front of me but I think one of them skipped the first slower section and omitted the scherzo and ended a few bars before letter M...the second slower section. JR |
