One thing is for sure. Charlotte is not a cheap airport to fly into.

the first round was quite long

solo
leonore 3
pictures promenade
respighi 1st mov beg to #3 (pines)
respighi offstage solo (pines)
schumann 2 opening
dvorak 8 2nd mov. 3 bef. E to F
debussy fetes (with mute)
heldenleben #49-55 and #65-66

And you're right Charlotte is an expensive city to fly and to sleep in. But the downtown area is quite nice.

Told you so.... :wink: That is a very long list considering the number of applicants they had. I heard that there were two committees and they were hearing people in two different spaces. I'm sure that helped.

yes this is true. I had the chance to play in the concert hall though...not bad.
