 | Cornet licks in Yiddish Theater So I went to go see the San Francisco Symphony last night and they a bunch of works in kind of an educational style (Michael Thomas explaining what they were playing and the history of it, because the whole show was about his grandparents). That bit was kind of boring (as was that intro...) but when the orchestra played, I noticed the cornets had all of these amazingly fun sounding licks. Stylish and silly almost. Anyone have any thoughts on them? (I'd never heard anything like it before)
