I contacted Mr. Aubier a few weeks ago and he responded quickly, offering to send over the CD's I requested. I emailed in English and could pretty easily understand his response.

Also, there are some on Amazon.fr and maybe Amazon.de.

Hey Brian, did you contact him via email from his website? Also, I did find some of his stuff on Amazon.fr, but I was afraid to push the order button. Amazon tends to screw things up sometimes and I thought I would have a hard time with any customer service in French. LOL.

Yeah, Eric really inspired me. The French repertoire sits in that upper tessatura most of the time and it takes quite a special player to master it with such musicality and sweet sounds. He definitely has command of it. I was truly inspired. He is the Jolivet king! I will email him today and hopefully get a response as well. I can't wait to get his recordings! Thanks for the tip Brian.

trumpjosh is an unknown quantity at this point
Alex -

Be sure to get the trumpet and percussion disc. Pretty unbelievable stuff, especially Heptade (Jolivet)... too difficult for words and he NAILS it.

Eric Aubier "French Trumpet in Japan" - Bellwood, Japan / Maguelone

Contents:
Sonatine pour Trompette - Francaix
Legend - Enesco
Rapsodie pour Trompette et Piano - Sancan
Le Carnaval de Venise - Arban
Intrada pour Trompette et Piano - Honegger
Sonate pour Trompette chromatique et Piano - Hubeau

this CD is my current source recording for the Enesco AND the Hubeau; highly recomended! FYI
