| Re: My recent Senior Recital...it's done!! Nicely done, Russ! Do you have a recording of the Britten Fanfare? I'd love to hear it, it's a cool piece. Good luck in your future projects! Best, Chas Reskin Editions-BIM.com |

| Piano User | Re: My recent Senior Recital...it's done!! Chas, I sure do. I'll see if I can get it to post on my MySpace(song limit is 6, I think) or, if you want a direct email, just PM me and let me know. I got to play 2nd part on that one, the bouncy 6/8 part. (I flubbed the first 3 notes, but hey, it happens, I guess...) I might also post Ewazen Mvt. II from our Honors Recital that I played on Tuesday...I think it sounds better than the one that's on there now. I hope that the school I'm sending the CD to likes it a lot. Anyone have any idea what kind of letter I should send with it? Should I simply say, here's the CD, hope you enjoy it? Or would some prefer a letter enclosed, somewhat reflecting how I felt about the performance, and then the 'enjoy it'? I'm new at this part of things, so I'm not sure. Thanks again, Chas, for the nice words. I know there are some bad cracks in there, but the more I think about it, the more I still like the recording, based off of tone quality, and style...I know there are lots of things to work on, but hey, that's what I'm here for. | Piano User | Re: My recent Senior Recital...it's done!! Well, looks like I've got a few friends on my new MySpace Music page...it's pretty cool. I hope that anyone out there that's a teacher or performer can take a few minutes and give me a bit of feedback. I look forward to it. I'm sending the CD off tomorrow, most likely, for Graduate School scholarship money... Russ |
