![]() ![]() | Re: Robot conducts Detroit Symphony Well a metronome could be considered a conductor too, if you pushed the definition. A robot is still a machine, just more complex than a metronome. I'm not impressed. Just more free press for Honda. What's next, the Honda robot acting as a railroad crossing guard. If they want to do something useful with it, have it come by and clean my pool !

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Robot conducts Detroit Symphony What a temptation not to play at the downbeat! Good thing Honda donated $1,000,000 to the orchestra first. Otherwise, what fun to play a different piece--like The Syncopated Clock, for example. What would you choose? This could be fun!

![]() | Re: Robot conducts Detroit Symphony Just the first step in the robots' insidious plan of world domination. Today they replace the conductors, and tomorrow they will be replacing politicians and heads of corporations. They must be stopped. |

| Mezzo Forte User | Re: Robot conducts Detroit Symphony Dude, Screw the robot, I'll come clean your pool if you let me swim in it! For pay, I'll consider playing some duets with you. How's that? HA, on second thought, that'd be a long drive every week... Whew. Wait, forget the robots, I forgot we have over 1 mil illegal aliens who would love to clean your pool too. Darn. Quote:

It's not that far to drive, and fairly cheap and all, with gas being so reasonable !

I on't be surprised to see gas over $4.50 by summer's end. It's already at $3.99 in my neck of the woods. And I'm driving to TN in July to see my folks... that's gonna hurt the wallet.

| Mezzo Forte User | Re: Robot conducts Detroit Symphony Here's a thought, why not take the honda robot and have him work the oil refinery?! Cheap labor might make the price go down... oh wait, illegal aliens already beat us to that.
