Hey there-
The bell is the only thing that is liteweight on the elaboration, but man does it sail! It can play dark and open when you want to play a jazz ballad, but last night on my salsa gig, it really peeled paint above high C. very responsive, with a solid core to the sound. Everyone keeps thinking it is a Bach of some kind. I love Bach horns as well, but this Elaboration is to me, a better player than the Bach 72* L that I played....it's all personal. Make sure you try out both the 37 and the 72 bell.....

I just got the CD/dvd combo. it is absultly wonderful, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! the cd is just packed with great music, and the dvd really gives guys like me, who live in rural areas and dont get out much, a good look into the city clubs and music scene.
