I've been wanting to hear that album again too.

All my hundreds of lps are in storage and probably warped.

The guys on TH were passing around CD copies at one time. But I wasn't in the loop.

I can't recal all the specifics ... but the double album was recorded live at like ... 10am ... after an all night bus ride. Part of my love for MF Horn 4 & 5 Live At Jimmys ... It was recorded right after the second time I ever saw the band. Brings back great memories of the begining of my exposure to Maynard. And now as a friend of Lin's ... well it's just a great album to me.

If you spend time listening to the recording you can hear where the balance was bad on some things, where volume levels were being messed with etc ... that's the things "nit-pickers" feed on. When i listen to it I jut hear the raw energy that band had!

I found an old copy of this record that was in excellent shape, probably only played a few times. I converted it to CD and cleaned up the noise with SoundForge, it is a great sounding recording. If anyone is interested I might be able to somehow get them a copy.

Here's a transcription of Bob Summers' solo (the first two choruses he plays, before Maynard's turn):

I have a copy...

I've got a copy of this album, but since I haven't had a turntable in 15 years, I can't tell you the condition. It did get a lot of playing when I first got it. If you want to pay for having it transferred to CD, I can see if I can have that done and send it to you ? Wouldn't want to sell the album itself though.

Thanks!! - I did manage to get a hold of a ablum in really good condition.

My trurntable is still in use all the time, I guess one day I need to hook up to the computer and covert over the ablums that have never been released, but then I would need to put somthing in the place of my ablum collection.
