Re: The most underated trumpet player

Glad you enjoyed our hospitality! He have lots of hidden treasures here in Canada. From classical to jazz artists, comics, actors, dancers etc... I'm not sure if it''s our water or the water that is found in our great Canadian beer! Just a sidenote Ingrid has a very talented sister Christine Jensen who plays a fantastic alto and is a wonderful composer.I went to McGill at the same time as her and her husband Joel Miller who is a fine tenor saxman and composer also!At last check they are both based here in Montreal.

Guido Basso playing in nothing short of Pure Genius!!!

Canada has given us so many fantastic players. Among them: Maynard, Kenny Wheeler, Guido Basso, Arnie Chikofski(Spelling?).......and person that I love dearly and consider more then a colleague, Ingrid Jensen.
I love her music.....
There is something right in the water!!! Great Jazzers and Great Lead players.....nuff said!
