![]() | Re: New Wedge Mouthpiece clips Great, great clips. One question, how do you decide which wedge mouthpiece to get when you don't know much about it? I'd like to try one, but I don't know what to get from just the info on the website.

![]() | Re: New Wedge Mouthpiece clips Consulting with Dr. Dave is your best bet. He works out great ways to help you try & find the right size. Before becoming a Wedge beta tester, I was playing the Monette 4 series (B4, C4, AP4L, B4L, etc.). My Wedge beta models were based on a B4S and a B4L lite blank. I moved into the 3 series when commercial production started. I haven't looked back. I have been showing a demo set of various Wedges in the eastern US. If you happen to be in that area, let me know. pat |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: New Wedge Mouthpiece clips Just a bit of an update... You know we're all trumpeters and that we constantly think the grass is greener on the other side. Last few weeks I bought a bunch of Monette and Kanstul M pieces to see if I really was happy on the Wedge. The answer was a resounding YES! While I liked the depth of sound I could get from a Prana Monette a bit better(especially this B2LDS 84 Slap) every other aspect was better on the wedge. The Wedge also felt significantly better on my face than anything else. The fact that Dr. Dave might be coming out with a heavier mouthpiece will solve these issues for me. I'll be listing (or already have) a bunch of mouthpieces for sale soon. I just paid my credit card bill. Ouch! I also have a lot of new clips to be put up on YouTube and my website soon. All of them are on the Wedge.
