Searching for Aebersolds

I've got quite the collection of Aebersolds but I'm missing a few recordings for tunes that I'm trying to work on. I'd be grateful if anyone knew where I could procure an electronic copy for some or all of these.

The list is:
Solar
Recorda-me
Up Jumped Spring
Stablemates
Moment's Notice
If You Could See Me Now

I don't mean to sound like a Jerk, but by not saying this I feel like one. Mr. Aebersold has worked tirelessly to make sure that we can all have education tools to practice jazz. By copying this material and giving it to someone we re stealing from him. Please just purchase them like most of us have done.

Re: Searching for Aebersolds

I doubt that illegal downloading is taking a crippling chunk out of Jamey's business, but I do think that if he were to start also selling his recordings song-by-song on iTunes, Amazon, or even his own site, it would be more profitable for him and much more convenient for his customers. I can't think of how many times I've wanted an Aebersold play-along for a particular song, but hesitated rather than paying $15 to $20 for a book and CD that are mostly filled with songs I already have or don't want.

Still, despite all that I don't like illegal downloading of recordings belonging to still-living artists, particularly someone who's done as much for jazz education as Jamey has.

Or get a lead sheet from any of a million sources, put your metronome on two and four and play quarter notes on the chord tones for an hour or two and you'll know the tune. Guaranteed.

Re: Searching for Aebersolds

Oh, and the other easy piece of advice: play along with your non-play-along recordings of those songs, assuming you have some. You can learn the solos that way too, which is never a bad thing.

Re: Searching for Aebersolds

You could buy Band in a Box and program all the chords in yourself. It's a great teaching tool and only $70 or so I think. My wife bought me the new copy for Christmas last year. It's amazing.
