Funny about Portrait of Louis Armstrong, when I was with Barrett Deems I transcribed that off of New Orleans Suite, and played it maybe 100 times. Great tune. But I prefer Cootie Williams on the original to the various Wynton versions I've heard. Cootie really sounds like Louis while at the same time sounding like himself.
