If you can swing it, I'd like to see another report on your experience in about 6 months time when you have really gotten "used to" these mouthpieces. My experience has been switch 100% and in 6 months, pull your old piece out and see if there is still really that much difference. I did this the two times that I switched brands (Bach -> Schilke(1974) -> Monette(1997)) and both times was able to verify that I did the right thing - for me! Some of my students and colleagues switched back after the euphoria wore off.
