![]() | broken case latch If a very fancy old Bach trumpet case has a broken-off latch (the hinged upper part is broken off), is it possible to get a replacement part and install it? The base of the latch looks like it is intact and attached to the case, but the half of the latch that swings up and down in opening and closing the case appears to be missing. So I would need a replacement tongue-shaped part that would fit into the hinge and then I would slide the new pin through the hinge. - Morris Last edited by screamingmorris; 06-08-2008 at 08:46 AM. |
