![]() | Re: Custom MP, who? Hi, If they are like most shops, they answer their e-mails in the evening after they've sent the workers home . . . or they answer 'em before the workday starts for the workers. During the day they are producing things and thus generally away from their compoooters. You may just want to call Jim instead. I'm sure they can page him in the plant and he'll grab the nearest phone. One-on-one is a great way to get to know someone, and it also allows you to tell him what you are trying to accomplish. The chances are, they've been down this same road at least 50 times before on your specific set-up, and may be able to give you even more advanced information that will save you time and money. Again, most folks who work with their hands making things HATE e-mails . . . for they'd rather be (what they call) "working." I think you'll be glad you called Jim! Sincerely, Tom Turner |
