| Pianissimo User | Re: Do Not Attempt Bicarb is simply sodium bicarbonate, which is simply baking soda. You can find it in your friendly grocery store, it'll either be in the aisle with the leavening agents or with the cleaning supplies. FYI, it is not the same as baking powder, which is sodium carbonate. I haven't really investigated the rxn, so I don't know if the carbonate would work or not. Just stick with the baking soda. ![]() | Re: Do Not Attempt I do baking and baking powder also has other ingredients including some flour to help it mix in so I wouldn't try that or it could turn to glue. sodium bicarbonate is what you need.
