I don't think that asymmetric has to worry about copycats. You just can't spin one of these things off with a lathe.
The commitment to change from the player has to be pretty great too - a big deviation from EVERYTHING we have learned.
I think this is a bit off track of the original thread title - that makes it hard to find in the future. A new thread about the asymmetric?

If Kanstul is cloning Monette mps I would bet they are exact same shape! The only thing that can be different is the metal or whatever finishing process Monette uses. plating, heat, cyro.....
