If we didn't have mouthpiece cases how would we get the mouthpieces to a show or dealer for you to try? Would you just toss them into a bucket and dump it on a table for guys to pick through?

It's about a MP case, for goodness sake!
OK. So I am a little over defensive of a shot taken at GR. For that, I am truly sorry. Now, to make everything good again. I will offer a free 8 Mouthpiece case to the person who can best describe in an e-mail to me, why he or she needs an 8 mouthpiece case, or why he or she does not have any use for one. The most interesting or entertaining submission will be posted on the GR Website and you will be the proud owner of a new 8 Mouthpiece case, whether you need one or not!
Please send your e-mails to info@grmouthpieces.com.
To view the 8 Mouthpiece cases, go to www.grmouthpieces.com/8mpccase.htm.

Ha! Ha! "Touche" as they say.

I don't need one; I don't have but four mouthpieces and one of those is in England with the Getzen cornet, two are "on loan" with the flugelhorn, and the last one fits quite nicely (thank you very much) in the receiver of my trumpet. :)

Still, great idea!

As a result of simplistic and foggy thinking, combined with an attempt at humor, the following seemed appropriate -----

Brian said he is defensive about his mouthpiece case
Perhaps a little sensitive about his “G R” place
And now he says he’s sorry and would like to regain face
He said he’d like to give away a new GR8 mouthpiece case

I want to play the trumpet although learning does take time
I think I’d rather build my chops just sucking on a lime
I think I’ll take a shot at this and maybe save a dime
So send the case to me because there’s nothing left to rhyme

Not Bad. Being a Dr. Suess fan, I can actually appreciate the poem.

Now guys and gals, I have about 25 replies so far. If you want to send me an e-mail with your (poem or otherwise) reason to have or not to have an 8 Mouthpiece case, you will be in the running for a free GR 8 Mouthpiece Case!
Gary and I will decide on the winner when we receive an even 50 replies.
E-mail me at info@grmouthpieces.com. Thanks!

Brian, I know many players have mastered many mouthpieces and need cases for them. I haven't mastered any of them, yet. I'm not a dealer and don't sell any musical devices so I don't display them. My wife says I have too much stuff anyway, so she says I don't need a mouthpiece case. Can you believe that? Who is she to tell me what I do and don't need. She's only a pianist. Gads!! Control, its all about control. If you send the case to me, you will have to use another address so she won't see it until I have mouthpieces in it. Then she'll think I'm getting organized. The next thing she is going to want is for me to give up my practice room. FMCDH! What the hell is a sitting room and doilies??

I've been looking for a mouthpiece roll that will accommodate 6 mouthpieces. I'm currently using a Carvello (sp?) mouthpiece roll and it works fine EXCEPT it's too small. The roll concept is great because it's more compact but I've never seen one any larger than the model I now have.
