Never Dull works pretty well on brass, although when I was in the Old Guard and had scads of brass to polish all of the time, Blue Magic was the polish that I really liked. We could get it in supply and I can recall several times using it around the valve casing of my old Strad to remove stubborn tarnish that the Wrights silver cream wouldn't even dent. I never even thought about trying Never Dull.

Never dull will make any slide look like new. It works great on those impossible spots on sliver as well, but you have to be careful with it.

If you're talking about Never-Dull, the cotton like stuff in a can...
be careful, that will scratch silver plate.
