Dave Mickley is on a distinguished road
I ordered one and liked it but I liked my Reeves 42M better and before I sent it back I had my wife try it. She said it was the best mouthpiece by far that she had ever tried. so Felix made another sale. I will have to say it does have a beautiful sound and she also complimented it by saying the intervals were easier and sounded great in both the upper or lower registers. Dave

What is a concise attack exactly? I understand clean... but the definition of concise is more or less "clear and succinct".... so, you mean that you have clear and clear attacks? I am not patronizing you or anything. I just want to know exactly what your opinion is and your methodology behind using such a specific term as "concise". Maybe that is a desirable sounding attack that I should look into.

I've had it for a few weeks now. I let some of my friends play on it and lol, poor guys, they want one now too. I just find that it is so easy to play and manipulate. Highs and lows I have no problem controlling in terms of volume (loud AND SOFT) and range (pedals to doubles). In all my searches I always find myself going back to my trusy Bach 3C... but man Felix, great job on this one. The Stage 1 and the 3C are the only pieces I carry with me to most gigs. Thnxs again for your work.

OK,got you.
BTW, there is a new model of Stage 1 Bb Trumpet in works,"Vintage" or "USA",not sure of the name yet.I am getting prorotypes next week.
Completely different from all of my previous models, very traditional looking horn, with a very traditional price tag as well.
You want to give it a blow for fun?

I don't mind givin' it a blow, but I must tell you: I'm in love with my Zues line horns and I've played on a bunch of Monettes. But sure, I'll give the axe a ride.

Ah,I see,you've played Monettes.
There is no way back after trying a Monette.
I would really like to try one, never did I have a chance to.
Who over here has one to share with me for a bit?I will trade it for Eclipse for a couple weeks.
