visually it looks like an old Martin mouthpiece or a LT Monette piece. Curious to hear it. I've never tried a double cup. I guess if I were looking for a new piece I wouldn't be close minded

oh man how much would it cost to try one of those stage 1 trumpets? I'm kind of in the market for a new horn... i'm either getting a new b flat or a flugel.

Definitely keep it an option between silver and gold.

Which one would you like to try?
And which instrument do you use more,a Bb or a Flugel?

well i'd love to try one of the prototypes but i've heard that all your trumpets are good so i'd LIKE to try them all. I definitely use trumpet more but i would also use the flugel quite a bit. hey i've got an idea how about you drop me an e-mail at sk8rdude1990@aol.com... i think i might be able to help you out a little bit.

I've only ever played one gold mouthpiece and it was that yamaha thing that came with the Xeno. I didn't like the size so i couldn't tell if i liked gold plate what exactly does it do and why does it work? all anybody has ever told me is that it makes the sound softer or that it doesn't do anything.

Ok Wendy, for me, gold plated mpc does nothing but feel a lil softer on the lips and I don't have to keep my chops as moist. Gold on a mpc is more of a feel thing in my opinion.... now gold vs silver horns, there's a huge difference there.
