Boxers or briefs? Reminds me of story from last year, when a retired Navy Masterchief and sailing friend of mine, came aboard my boat. He began opening up areas down below and kept stating that I could put "skivvies" and socks in the little open spaces. I told him, that the first thing they taught me in the Army was not to wear anything while in the field.

Where I come from the military do not wear anything under their kilts.
In fact there is a tradition of getting them to walk across a mirror before going on parade to make sure thats the case!
