Damn that sounds great, but I know I would not be able to go more than a day or two without putting a fresh drop or two on my valves. I can't seem to follow my car makers 10K oil change recommendation either.

Not saying I'm going to let my horns go either!

I am one of those who brushes before playing, swabs the leadpipe after playing, etc.

I am just amazed that since using Ultra-Pure oils I don't need to oil the valves everytime I take it out of the case. I give my horns a monthly bath and relube and grease everything.

I also noted that even though other oils have had an immediate effect on the quickness of my valves, Ken's oil has kept a formerly sticky valve from sticking at all!

What more can a trumpeter want?

Peyton

You folks (younger folks especially) are gonna crack up with this comment...

in my high school days we were told to use PONDS facial cream on our slides. It use to really upset my mom. I'd go in her bathroom and borrow the jar and never return it. And when I did there would be this ugly dark goop left in the jar from my dirty fingers.

Come to think of it, worked quite well.... and left a nice scent too.

Alex Yates has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Hey Rogerio, the trombone players would use POND'S when I was in school. I never knew any trumpeters that did that though. LOL

I agree, Ken's lubes and oil are wonderful. I do have to oil less frequently, but still oil regulalry. The slide stuff is great and lasts forever. Speaking of sticky valves, my Yammie pic has ALWAYS had a lazy second valve. (Older Yammies are notorious for this), but after cleaning and oiling it up with Ken's stuff, it seems to have rectified the situation. Ultra Pure and Ultra Purrrrrfect.

Now I need to go out get some of this stuff...

See how great this forum is Ken? The very best method of advertising... we are a practically an INFOMERCIAL for you.

... imagine if you will... a young child walks into the home music studio and proceeds to wipe peanut butter from her PB&J into the trumpet's valves sitting on the stand. Dad walks in and has that plastic look of shock... "OMG" he screams... Mom walks in... I know what your thinking, Dad is the musician right? NO... the Mom takes the horn in hand and says, "no worries troop".... (this is a politacally correct infomercial) "I've got ULTRA PURE oils"... "this peanut butter is no threat to ULTRA PURE"... she wipes the BP away and places a few magic drops on the valve... (a ding is heard in the background) ... it's working... you can sense it... Sure enough the valve springs into action...

end of INFOMERCIAL

Just being silly Ken... I'm glad you can get this kind of advertising. And I was serious. I need to go try some of your stuff... I'll let you know if I hear a "ding" when it hits the valves.

upoils will become famous soon enough
I wish I had a budget for an infomercial.... this would just be too funny!!! Ultra-Pure Oil has certainly helped many, many players regain confidence in their valves. Ron Miles even told me that it had "changed his life", not having to worry about sticking valves. Thanks again, to all my friends at trumpetmaster.com -- I really appreciate all your terrific stories!

And now, for your reading pleasure, here is my latest endorsement -- from the fabulous Ingrid Jensen:
"I'm down Ken! It's great stuff. Doesn't seem to be dripping and/or staining my clothes either. Count me in!" See her website at www.ingridjensen.com
