| Pianissimo User | Re: The Wedge I have been thinking..... what if a person does not put the mouthpiece dead center on the lips, can a Wedge still work? I have seen people that have the mouthpiece off to one side or the other. (MF did) Peace

![]() | Re: The Wedge Hi, A number of players using a Wedge play a bit off to the side with good results. It does not seem to make much difference. I do not play dead center myself. Cheers.

![]() | Re: The Wedge I'm actually going to Vancouver soon. Hope I can get some time away form the family to get around to trying these pieces. From all I've read here and heard from NickD's Youtube vids, these are some spectacular pieces and I just pray to the stars I'll be a wedge responder.

![]() | Re: The Wedge I find that when playing another (traditional) mouthpiece, that there is not adverse affect. In fact, the Wedge tends to "train" my setup so that playing another mouthpiece is actually easier. I don't like to change rims, so I'm a 100% Wedge 3 player now, but on those few occasions that I have played one of my old mouthpieces, it was really quite easy to just pick up and use. pat |
