![]() | Re: Yet Another "which case/bag should I get" If you can get a hold of them the Yamaha "heavywall" Double cases are very sturdy. I have two of them one of them for nearly 20 years and they are still holding up pretty well. They now come with the new Xeno I think.

![]() | Re: Yet Another "which case/bag should I get" Everyone is right about gig bags--they should be called dent bags. I use a ProTec double case for my Bb and C and it provides good protection as well as enough space for mpcs and misc stuff. If you have a bunch of mutes you need with you get a mute bag too. |

![]() | Re: Yet Another "which case/bag should I get" Hello all, I regret to say that I use the "evil" Reunion Blues triple gig bag. However, I've never had a problem with any of my horns getting dinged, as I am super-duper careful with my horns. I also have a Yamaha hardwall double Xeno case, that I carried to rehearsal last week with my triple...I brought 4 horns. I would reccomend anything by Protec, or by Wolfpak. I've got a Protec single, and am looking to buy a Protec Mike Vax trumpet-flugel case. Whenever I'm not absolutely sure of the place I'm going, or who's gonna be there, I go with the hard cases. Better safe than sorry...very sorry. Cheers
