Bach 7C Student Model Bach 3C Regular Bach 3C Megatone Bach 1C Megatone 2) What Mouthpiece is your FAVORITE Bach 3C Megatone 3) Why do you like it?/What sets it apart for your others? It's big, but not too big, so the sound comes out while still being able to play fast notes without much trouble, and the tone is phenominal. |

![]() | Re: Your Favorite Mouthpiece Is? Stork 1.5B for Bb and C trumpet Schilke 18F for flugel and 18 secondary for trumpet The Stork has a clean and clear tone plus is considerably louder for the same amount of air and it plays soft too. The Schilke 18 / 18F were considerably better than the Bach 3 and 11/2C I had been using--I favor larger mouthpieces. |

![]() | Re: Your Favorite Mouthpiece Is? My favourite mouthpieces are: Cornet: Denis Wick 4 + Booster, used to be 3 Flugelhorn: Denis Wick 4F, used to be 2F Reason: Dark Round Sound and Flexibility, smaller cup diameter (3 ->4; 2F->4F) for more stable sound quality over whole range |

![]() | Re: Your Favorite Mouthpiece Is? Bach 5C, 7C, 3C, 7D Schilke 15, 6A4A Jet tone SS I've really come to love the 7D. Played alot of years on the 7C and like that rim......the 7D is much the same and my range is better with it.

![]() | Re: Your Favorite Mouthpiece Is? only owned a dozen in my life started on a Bach 8- what a piece of crap( Bachs are the most uncomfortable rims I've ever played on) played a custom made Schilke 18a2a for 13 years until I let a guy borrow it for the week and never got it back. went to a Schilke 6a4 and been there ever since(20 years) works great for me, used it for church, piccolo, big band, salza, recital, and no I don't have a thin sound on it or a weak low register, I could be more than happy to never try another mpc the rest of my life. |
