She got me a book about London for my birthday...I had it for, let's see...3 days and I haven't seen it since. (She's been reading it since April!) She is planning places to go and things to do....(she has some relatives up in Holland that she wants to go see...) and generally freaking out about "not having anything to wear". It's almost like she won the contest or something! lol. My Dad is worried...but he gets worried about any kind of travel. My little brother, David (he's 5 and going to Kindergarten tomorrow! *tear*) keeps whining about how he isn't going and how it isn't fair and how long am I going and am I going to bring him back a present and I am coming home right and why can't I go and.....you get the picture. My section is plotting to kill me, have one of them dress in drag and act like me so my parents don't miss me, and steal my trumpet when I get back home. Me....I'm just bouncing off the walls, counting down the days, and hoping I don't make a fool of myself when I get there! lol. See ya'll soon! Lara

![]() | Hi Lara, You'll have a great time in London. I have been to Eclipse twice now and it's a fantastic day out, with amazing trumpets and flugels to try, and Leigh et al are all really friendly. You and your Mum will also have an amazing time at The Producers - it is a great show - very funny! - and the music is fantastic. (Noel is an awesome player and a really nice guy as well if you get the chance to meet him - he was very kind to me when I was over in the summer - thanks again Noel if you reading this!) I would go with your Mum to one of the nice pubs on the river - Kingston has a load of lovely ones (but london husker will be better able to advise you) and try a pint of Fullers London Pride - I personally think it's the best beer brewed in London. Have a great time and I, as I am sure may others are too, will be looking forward to hearing your exploits on your return! Graham. |

| Mezzo Forte User | 9 Days! I actually dreamed I was at Eclipse and I was playing trumpet for a small gathering of people and I kept messing up...but then I hit a high C and sustained it for the first time in my life! It was really cool. Gah! I can't wait! Lara
