Re: Anthem at Sun's Game last night

No problem John. The last time that I played the SSB at a hockey game, the carpet that they put out was plenty big for 5 players and the microphone. If you’re planning on many more than 5 in your group, you might want to consider the logistics of it (just trying to troubleshoot a potential problem before you get to the arena).

You can see the carpet if you look closely in the second photo in this thread (National Anthem at Hockey Game).

Eclipsehornplayer is on a distinguished road
Re: Anthem at Sun's Game last night

Yeah I've given that some thought...

I originally wanted to use; well truth be known all trumpets; big surpise I know.

But I decided to take the middle road and go brass quintet/sextet which are the arrangements that I have.

Our conductor decided that if we do this he'd want no less the two to a part meaning that we'd have a group of 11 or 13. The conductor is included in those numbers.

When I talked with my contact at the arena she indicated that would be a perfect size so I'm assuming that they have a carpet big enought to accomodate the group.

I'll post about it once/if it becomes reality. Thanks for the heads up; I greatly appreciate it.

John
