It has two clutches one holds the next gear predicted to be chosen and gets it up to speed. The idea is to speed up the gear changes. It only does that in M mode when you are using the paddles. In S or C mode it runs like a normal automatic but having secen gears means it does tend to change too often so C mode is the best choice for smooth driving. Mike: I can't drive it over 50 with the roof down or my wig blows off. | |
