Update ....

One other program does merit mention (yf watches) -- "Animal Planet".

(Disclaimer -- we're vegetarians; we love animals ... we don't eat them.)

Hey Miss Piggy How are ya? Havent seen you in here for a while. Ya I love that show along with LOST and watched it with my wife on Sunday night. I thought the way Bree let that Pharmasist die was funny but so pradictable for her character I mean after all she let Rex diliberatly almost die when he was having a heart attack. I think that story line with Susan and her biological dad (played very well by Canadian actor Paul Dooley) is a story line Im gonna watch. I thnk the story with Carlos and that attractive nun is funny too. Great thread Miss Piggy and Great show!

If you guys are into your boring little Weather channels Fox news and Robert claims to 'have a life,' why are you posting in a Desperate Housewives thread? That like a bass player posting in a monette mouthpiece thread...stupid

Anyone who can openly admit they watch News and Weather as entertainment cant say they have a life. Thats just plain BORING.

Hey Martin

Ya it is one messed up show, but thats what makes it so funny I think The characters are all dysfunctional, but at the same time likable, and the show is VERY well written

I have to say that I don't watch any one program enough to know what time of the night it comes on...

Every once in a while I catch 2 1/2 Men and I like it. Very funny.

My wife on the other hand is a avid CSI fan...just the Vegas and Miami though... for some reason she doesn't get into the NY one... so, I sit to watch it with her... but usually I get up and go practice...

Sorry... but the WEATHER CHANNEL??? Maybe during the storms... but not on a regular basis...

History Channel, Discovery (but not the Health Discovery...) Sorry Lara, no blood and guts for me...

The reality shows are out of the question.... I did watch the first season of Survivor... but then it got old.

I do want to ask Lara a question... Your family watches SOUTH PARK together? Don't misunderstand me... but your folks are okay with you guys (little brother included) watching that? I like South Park because of the points they make... but the swearing and racy matter is a little over the top for family time... maybe I'm just old school...

I think southpark is crude, rude, ignorant and offensive. Not to mention that the animation is trashy, and thats on a good day. southpark is right at the bottom of the social heap like beavis and butthead. People that I know who watch those shows are generally the same people who watch horror movies. They are narrow minded and have a chip on their shoulder

Little Davie is usually in bed when it's on, and so is my other younger brother. It's usually just me and my Mom and Dad. Don't worry, we aren't corrupting the minds of young childeren with South Park. lol.

I like CSI: Vegas, South Park, 2.5 men, and any show that reminds me of my youth (whick was like less than a decade ago). The history channel also has cool shows about guns or whatever.

I also like McGyver reruns, even though he's a sissy.

Lara,

Glad to hear it's just you and your folks. You must have very open minded parents to sit and watch South Park with you... man... I'm sounding OLD... I keep forgeting that I'm old enough to have kids your age... just chose not to... well, married late too... anyway... sorry if I sounded weird.

Rick,

You are tough on us South Park watchers... But I hear ya, it is really bad sometimes... but my odd sense of humor still likes it... and NO, I don't watch horror movies... just the evening news sometimes...not very often...

_____

I watched 30 seconds of NIP & Tuck last night and had to turn it off.... just too weird... too much sadness and lost minds...

SUBJECT CHANGE

Yes!!! It's a great story. I've enjoyed the books with my son and the PBS series from England.

Actually, yes. My oldest 2 kids are pretty excited, too. They've both read many of the books; I, sadly, must admit that I've not read them yet.
