Re: EBay fraud

Hi Trevor-thanks for your kind words. That show was a blast-we've been off for a while so it was nice to be back on tour. I really enjoyed my time in Dubai-it's a wonderful place and the crowd was really into the show too-that makes it fun. Thanks again!

best regards,
Bill

Re: EBay fraud

eBay isn't all that bad, you just have to be knowledgeable about the item you are buying and know when things are amiss. I haven't had a problem with it, and have (too many) cool toys now because of it!

Re: EBay fraud

I saw that fraud and reported it. Ebay said their wasn't enough evidence which is ridiculous because that exact same fraud was pulled multiple times. But they took it off eventually so its ok. But I have bought guitars, trumpets, mouthpieces, books and other things off ebay and they have all turned out great. I guess you just really have to watch out.

Re: EBay fraud

That was probably my old 993. In fact I did sell it to a fellow in Italy (Joe, I need to know what you'd like me to do with your B4L). I've been watching ebay as I KNOW it will come up again. If you see a 993 in Gold plate that someone is selling "due to allergies" know it AINT me and it's a SCAM most likely.

One of my former students now in the military bands also got scammed this way last week. He sent me an email telling me he got a 953 for $1600 and I emailed right back telling him it was an absolute scam. I think he's going to get his money back and has JAG on the case. For real (good thoughts of Catherine Bell come into my head... ;)

The truth about ebay is that you have to be SURE of who you're buying from. I get bummed as I sell many items on ebay and the recent scammers make me very hesitant to sell there. That being said I'm having good luck with TH, TM, and TPIN. No ebay fees, either! woo-hoo!
