Did I miss something somewhere about this contest? 1) The Thong thread in the Lounge forum lists that the contest began and ended already. 2) The TPIN thread in the Lounge forum lists that the contest will begin in a couple of weeks. Liad Bar-EL

...Just curious, Is it going to be a Bflat trumpet, or can we get a C if we want to? Anyway, it's always nice to get an extra horn for free! Shipping to somewhere in Europe is a lot cheaper Leigh  Jeroen.

Next Year the winner may get the choice of a C, Bb, flugel or cornet. Some are and have been in development for a good while. So Maybe next time? Regards Leigh

| Fortissimo User | Maaaan! You lay that thing on the FLOOR to take a picture? You don't deserve such a nice horn. Send it to me at once: I promise to keep it swaddled in virgin cotton, play it only while wearing white, linen gloves, and treat it just as if it were my own! (Hey...I didn't say WHERE I'd wear the white, linen gloves!) |

Hey tootsall, I don't see any fingerprints on Gary's horn. Either he's already wearing white gloves, or...the horn spends most of its time in a glass case, being "gazed" upon. Oh, I forgot. The "Banshee" screams loud and high enough to break glass! Never mind. Be well.

:o Ok, as for the bit about the horn being on the floor, I actually have to laugh at that on because it's on a TABLE, and yes it's an UGLY tablecloth! (Me 1, wife 0) 8) As for the not playing part, that is my most played horn - I just like to take pics of a clean horn - so I wipe it off before I take pics of it. Nice try guys.....
