![]() | Nice Post Manny, Nah, the wife is not going to see these things. As right as she always is, she'd see where you missed somethings and be certain to add them. Romance 101: What is it? Does it last longer then 2 minutes? And of course in your frontal lobotomy you'll also need to be certain to add Sweetest day and Valentine's day. I thought I was home free when we moved from the Detroit area to here 1 1/2 hours southwest of Atlanta, no one here knew what the significance of sweetest day was. I called a the local Olive Garden to make reservations and was startled that 2 weeks in advace I could get a reservation. I said to the young lady on the phone, "So you don't have to make reservations down here for sweetest day eh?" She said, "What's sweetest day?" I talked with my co-workers at work they thought I was nuts. No one in south central Georgia knew what Sweetest day was. Wow! I knew that I liked the south for some reason! I told her that it was a hallmark holiday in which we men folk are expected to pamper our significant others dinner, gift etc.... She was stunned, she said,"When did this start?" Sadly the wife overheard the conversation and I learned what any twice married man should have figured out long ago. When mama's happy everyone's happy, when mama's unhappy no ones happy. Mama was not happy with me for a while, lesson learned! Thank God mama don't know I post here!
