Someone mentioned "high maintenance" ....

I've dated a few (three, I think) models in New York. You guys have no idea what "high maintenance" means. I'll give 'em credit, though -- they were very much "up front" about it. Beautiful women are EXPENSIVE !! (...sigh, ...)

Our drum major at CU did the Phantom baton thing. You should have seen the crowd on the night of our big exhibition. They went bonkers at it! It was awesome, two thousand band members screaming their heads off at a 60 piece band....

I think the most I have ever spent on a girl is..... 50 bucks. Heres my trick.

"Hey, how about I come over and bring a pizza, and we'll watch a movie. Oh, wait. You're a girl, and girls dont EAT, so I guess I don't have to bring anything, eh?"

Never failed.

"The old pizza trick" would never fly in New York, Van.

By the way, I attended Tusculum (then college) in Greenville, TN. All was needed was to have a pickup truck. The girls there thought that was "the greatest".

You are going to have to hold your horn in the same loving way Lara does in her avatar. Long, cold, lonely nights spend with a piece of cold brass.

Hey, it's easier to hold a trumpet like that than a guy!

About psychopathic ex~ I'll tell the story.

I was in 9th grade, and being rebellious. I wasnt' supposed to date or hang out with guys (outside of school hanging out) until I was 16. There was this one guy that I liked, even though everyone else thought he was a creepy loser. I didn't believe them, and when he asked me out, I said yes. In the course of a month, he had succeeded in alienating me from all of my friends and making my life miserable. He wrote poetry to and about me daily and said that he loved me. I finally had enough and broke up with him...only to find out that night he tried to commit suicide because I was his soulmate. He actually had proposed to me and was expecting us to get married! I was only 14...I didn't want that to happen.

So yeah, that's the story of the psychopath that I dated. Much less mushy than the description of my beau now!

BTW, I'm going to use this random topic to rant about something that has been bothering me as of late: PG-13 HORROR MOVIES!!!

Okay, the Ring, while hard to follow, was great! The Grudge, while a whole lot harder to understand, was also quite good.

HOWEVER.

Why not make it R, so you can make just that much more gorey, and scary!? I just think some of the scary movies out today would have been *SO* much better if there had been about.... two gallons more blood.

Lara (silverstar ) --

...could be worse.

I dated a psychologist for a while (probably too long). The story is too absurd to relate here.

I drink now.

Nothing gets on my nerves today than the idiots out there who think they can write poetry....

On that note, I hate all guys who play that bad-boy poet game. Its disgusting. You can show your feelings for someone in a *MUCH* better way than rhyming "forever" with "Jennifer."

In fact, I wish I could get away with public beatings of all "goth" people....

In fact, why doesn't the government appoint me the "national beater of people who need it?" They wouldn't even have to pay me, just give me a place to sleep and bathe between scheduled beatings of people deemed "needing an ***-whoopin."

Mr. Rowe, now you have to tell us the story! Its "absurd," and it involves a psychologist....

I can't tell that story ... it just ain't right !
I do try to be a gentleman ... and a gentleman does not "Kiss-and-tell".

My life has been (and seems to continue to be ...) like a "soap opera" -- I'm serious.
People that know me have urged I write a book about it.
That will never happen, I assure you.

Now, for that glass of Dewar's ....

(Plus -- we've got snow / sleet / freezing rain right now ... my VW Vanagon is coated with an inch of ice ... I won't be going anywhere soon. Besides, it's fun watching the "rednecks" go spinning-off into the ditches with their pick-up trucks....which reminds me : A "redneck's" last words -- "Hey, watch this, Y'all !! " ).
