I went to mass today to pray for him. Two miracles happened. One, the church didn't fall down and two, your news about his condition.

God bless your family, and thank him for me for his service and sacrafice.

My prayers are with your brother and your family. Please pass on my gratitude to him for his service. We sit here safe and in comfort in the U.S. due to his voluntary sacrifice.
I was in the U.S. military in the '70's and '80's, and I really appreciate these young guys. The terrorist threat got started while I was overseas in the '80's, but that was where we expected to find it back then-overseas.

UPDATE: My Brother is back in the states. He got into Andrews AFB yesterday, and will fly to San Diego today. Hopefully, he'll be back in Texas in a week or so.
