No one was sure what would happen before as it was always a big joke that the site would crash and the last one to post was the winner.

(for me that is) :) I feel better that the contest doesn't end due to a crash, it doesn't seem fair to have a winner due to another problem. That still doesn't mean that I won't really really try hard to still win this thing.

An entire month of free advertising and I could see an announcement on the way indicating that no trumpet will be given away due to the scandal. I could be wrong; we'll see.
