I found the online voting link. Since Del, I've not been plyied by another of the other ITG candidates with free suds (don't drink anymore, so my vote will be a cheapy), you've got my vote.

Boy am I easy or what

Good Luck,

Richard

Del, how do you think you're seeded out of that 16? Are you George Mason or are you Georgetown?

I'm in full agreement with you, Mike. I am proud to be an American (just as I am sure you are proud to be British) but believe ITG will only continue to grow and be interesting if more of an international presence is in place. Actions speak louder than words, and I can report that the ballot I cast last weekend included votes for non-USA candidates.

I also voted for Del and Joe, based on how they have represented themselves in the forum. Regularly seeing their posts that either help people or reveal what they are doing to promote the trumpet made that an easy decision. Keep up the good work guys!

And to all those who haven't yet voted, please take a few minutes to cast your ballot. It only takes a few minutes online. I don't care who you vote for, just do it! And remember that if you don't vote, you don't have any right to complain about who was elected.

Del - it wasn't actually directed at you personally, just making sure that other people understand the international element of ITG (not always convinced from some of the comments on TM and elsewhere by some US based members)
You had my vote even without the campaigning (as did Joe - after that wonderful conference he was a certainty)

And stchasking, beers are on me if I'm elected!
Be warned - everyone on here has VERY good memories for this sort of thing.

btw - the vote will be confirmed when you agree to have a hair picture taken this year

I understand. I didn't take it personally. For many years, ITG claimed to be international without doing anything to prove it. I do think they are doing a much better job these days, and hopefully we will continue to move in that direction. I would very much like to see that!

As for the photo - hmmm - I guess I'd be in good company, so sure! I just don't look very good in pink.

Re: ITG elections

You have my vote as long as you can speed up the registration process if you win.

I think most of the time they do a good job of getting the registrations processed quickly. But I am aware of times when the process has been very slow, and it would be good to look for a way to ensure that the whole process is quick and efficient. Sorry yours has taken so long. Did you email the treasurer and inquire about it - treasurer@trumpetguild.org

Let me know if I can help.
