Ahoy, there matey! That's the truth. Actually, they're pretty good boats. We're just replacing them with one that's more in line with what we like to do.

You gave me an idea to sell my dugout canoe. I'll have a garage sale with the boat and trailer parked in the street. I'll advertise it for men only and that will draw in women as well.

The two happiest days in a mans life with his wife: The day he marries her and the day he buries her. (I think this is in Bartlett's quotations.)

Wow Dave that's intense!

I'm glad I don't have to deal with anything like that here. Something tells me that it could boad ill for the neighborhood. We have some class a jacka**es that live down the street; I'm sure they'd mess it up for everyone.

We have one of those a few doors down and he's out there right now trying to hawk all sorts of crap. I'm thinking about going down there and offering him some insultingly low price for something to piss him off. :)

My wife asked me yesterday if we could get married again, renew our vows. I said, what, are you trying to rub it in?

Re: It's Garage Sale Time

40Cal,

I shot the Barret today. One bullet for $5.00. No recoil but a heck of a slap in the face with the muzzel brake gas. My 45-70's and my 12 shotgun kicks far worse. I hope to add digitals to this as soon as I get them.

I also shot a smith and wesson 44 mag that had a super light frame. It hurt. I shot two bullets. The first one to see how bad the recoil is and the second round to show I was man enough to do it again. Ouch!!

I did not shoot any full auto. The line was too long. Next weekend is a full auto and explosive/pyrotechnic target shoot near Kansas City. I might go but it could be a long day and noisy.

I'm going to go stick a screwdriver through my skull.
My neighborhood does that too and it drives me bonkers! At least they announce it ahead of time now and I just stay in that day if I can. When I need to get somewhere (like a wedding gig) on one of those Saturday afternoons , it takes me a half hour to get through what would usually take 2 minutes. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!
