Actually, it was a better try than you're giving Brian credit for. I'm referring to the danger that she put our servicemen in when she went to visit our captured military at the Hanoi Hilton. They suffered greatly as a result of her giving credibilty ( aid and comfort, as well ) to the enemy. Sorry, she did some things during the war that were unforgivable. I was too young to serve but my brother did. I'm sure that you had family that served then, as well. I know you're serving in this current war and I can't ever thank you enough. I don't think anyone questioned her right to do as she pleases. Not at all. What you're hearing are the voices of those that remember her during the Vietnam War. They are exercising THEIR 1st ammendment rights to denounce her having the gall to speak for the military as she intends to. The right to free speech you're fighting for on my behalf does not protect one from the non-violent, written or spoken reactions of one who is offended. I called her a commie because of where her sympathies lay during the war, with the communists. I called her a be-yatch because imprisioned soldiers suffered as a result of her actions in Hanoi and she didn't care. Now that I've made myself clear... exercise away. ML

![]() | Jane was born on Dec. 21st, 1937, so she's 67. Maybe we should call this her "Retirement Tour" and maybe Attends adult diapers would line up to be the sponsor! I nominate this dude to drive the 67 year-old's bus . . . ![]() Maybe we'll all get lucky! |

They passed her notes telling what was going on and she turned the notes over to the enemy.

![]() | Well, as much as I'd like to believe that she and the other stars said those things in order to justify hurling more verbal abuse at them , I think it was a parody interview like "The Onion" does. I mean, if they really did say those things... nah, nobody's that nuts. Are they? ML |
